About Our Education Programme

Access to quality education is not a luxury — it is a right. Yet millions of Muslim children and young adults are denied that right due to poverty, conflict, displacement, and systemic barriers. Compassion Fund’s Education Programme exists to change that.

We fund education at every level — from providing basic school supplies to children in rural communities, to awarding university scholarships to exceptional students who cannot afford tuition. We also invest in vocational training and digital skills for young adults who need practical pathways to economic independence.

Our Six Educational Programmes

University Scholarships

Full and partial scholarships for Muslim students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. We prioritise students from low-income households with strong academic potential.

School Supplies Initiative

Complete school kits including stationery, textbooks, bags, and uniforms — provided at the start of each academic year to children in need in 28 countries.

After-School Tutoring

Subsidised tutoring in maths, science, and English for school-age children who are falling behind or at risk of dropping out. Delivered in-person and online.

Quranic Education

Quran memorisation programmes and Islamic studies classes for children and adults. We fund Quran teachers in underserved communities where Islamic education is scarce.

Vocational Training

Practical skills courses in carpentry, plumbing, tailoring, cooking, and trades. Equipping young adults with marketable skills and pathways to sustainable livelihoods.

Digital Skills Training

Coding, graphic design, digital marketing, and freelancing skills for young Muslim adults — empowering them to earn online and participate in the global digital economy.

Review the requirements for the programme you are applying to. Each has specific eligibility criteria.

Submit Documents

Provide proof of enrolment, household income details, and a brief statement of need.

Panel Review

Applications are reviewed monthly by our Education Committee. Outcomes communicated within 21 days.
